We currently have a permanent part-time position of approximately 30 hours per fortnight vacant in one of our high support houses in The Ponds. We are looking for a supportive, reliable, highly motivated and energetic Support Worker to work with 1 participant with Intellectual Disability and mental health issues.

What we are looking for:

• A strong and confident person with a relaxed, calm and patient personality
• Experience in supporting people with an Intellectual Disability (ID) and challenging behaviours
• Demonstrated resilience to episodes of challenging behaviour
• Willingness to work short shifts (3 to 6 hours). The shifts are a mix of mornings and evenings during the week and on weekends. This would ideally suit someone living locally.
• Demonstrated ability to adhere to a structured routine
• Current driver’s license and a reliable fully insured vehicle
